The ZX80-EX with its lightweight form factor, is built to fully rugged military standards (MIL-STD-810H) to resist shock, spill, vibration, and a six-foot drop without damage or disruption. It also tolerates temperature extremes of -21°C to +55°C (-5.8°F to 131°F) while being IP67-certified and submerged in up to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
The ZX80-EX empowers oil and gas, pharmaceutical and petro chemicals to upgrade and future-proof their mobile assets and operations with AI. Qualcomm neural processor unit (NPU) and 8” ultra-widescreen display makes the ZX80-EX well-suited to facilities management and real-time analytics while its sleek yet rugged design fits right in on the move.
ZX80-EX’s 8” WUXGA (1920x1200 resolution) widescreen in 16x10 display delivers 1,000 nits of screen brightness, enabling easy display under even the brightest sunlight. Its powerful front speaker, noise-canceling microphones, and best-in-class camera specs (8MP front/16MP rear) make remote guidance and conferencing loud and clear. And with its dual-battery setup, with an additional hot-swappable standard battery, all-day working is not a problem. Furthermore, the active digitizer pen ensures precise input without accidental palm or finger touch errors, ideal for accurate data entry and signatures in any weather.
ZX80-EX’s dual SIM capabilities (one physical SIM + one eSIM) enable easy switching between different carrier networks, with optional 4G LTE or 5G Sub-6 with 4X4 MIMO delivering ultra-broadband cellular (WWAN) data transfer. ZX80-EX also supports local private networks such as the CBRS band in the US. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 round out its short-range wireless capabilities, with optional dedicated GPS available for precise geolocation even in remote locations.
This device is Google ARCore certified, allowing seamless deployment of proprietary or third-party Augmented Reality (AR) applications without additional setup. With high-precision sensors, it delivers smooth, stable AR experiences in scenarios such as workflow guidance, remote support, hands-on training, and GIS data visualization. Built to meet military-grade durability and high protection standards, it’s a trusted, rugged platform for enterprise AR integration.
When paired with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), AR enables real-time spatial data overlays. Field workers can instantly visualize underground infrastructure on-site, improving accuracy, decision-making, and operational speed.
Combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI), AR provides step-by-step visual instructions while AI monitors and verifies each task, helping to reduce errors, increase productivity, and ensure consistent performance in the field.
