Hillview School for Girls Structured Cabling Project

The £5m building project, Phase 1 of the school's redevelopment program, provided 21 additional classrooms, including Art studios and a Music suite, offices and a new school entrance.

Ultima installed a Siemon Category 6 structured cabling solution to provide the school with 580 network points for data and telephones. This entailed installation of two new communications rooms and linking the new and old parts of the school with fibre optic and 100-pair telephone cable.

The new network was completed on time, tested to the ISO 11801 standard, and a 15 year warranty was provided.
